Kazakh diplomats in their reports stressed that "the upcoming constitutional referendum will give an additional impetus to the development of the country as a whole, this is the most important decision of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, which is of particular political importance."

Well-known political figure Roman Blashko noted that “the Czech Republic is closely monitoring the internal political situation in Kazakhstan, new political reforms are very timely and necessary for society. The constitutional referendum is a logical continuation of the political program announced by President K. Tokayev, we fully support this politically important step.”

Representatives of the club of friends of Kazakhstan and the Czech expert community also spoke at the event.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in the framework of the round table held a presentation of the two-volume edition of the Anthology of Modern Kazakh Poetry and Prose in English.

In their speeches, Kazakh diplomats emphasized that literary dialogue occupies an important place in the cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic and expressed the hope that this project is the beginning of further joint activities.

A well-known scientist, Professor Jiří Shima, in his speech emphasized: “Kazakh literature, whose integration into the world artistic process is obvious, remains a unique component of the assertion of national self-consciousness, as well as the development of intercultural dialogue.”

The speakers, among whom were representatives of the Czech public and the media, focused the attention of those present on the intensification of the literary dialogue between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic, which occupies a significant place in the development of creative potential between the peoples of the two countries.

During the event, Kazakhstani diplomats donated books to the collections of the National Library of the Czech Republic, as well as the city municipal library of Prague.

At the end of the event, the Embassy gave a concert of Kazakh music, and also organized an exhibition on the theme "Modern Kazakhstan".
