KAZAKHSTAN. CCS - As part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Astana, the National Company “Kazakh Tourism” commissioned by the Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted an expedition to the most significant natural sites in Kazakhstan, reports ortcom.kz

The purpose of the event is the study of natural, historical, sacral objects for the development of new tourist routes, the development of domestic tourism and infrastructure, as well as the study of his native country. The expedition went along 6 routes covering 6 tourist clusters and visiting significant natural objects.

The routes are planned taking into account the coverage of the maximum number of natural and sacred objects that are interesting for the development of tourism, such as the “Pearls of Tien Shan” - Almaty region; "Altai - the cradle of civilization" - East Kazakhstan region; "Dzhungar Alatau" - Almaty region; “Sary-Arka” - Akmola, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Kostanay regions; “From sea to sea” - Kyzylorda, Aktobe, Mangystau regions; “New Silk Road” - Turkestan, Zhambyl, Almaty regions.

Kazakhstanis are showing more and more interest in visiting the land of their ancestors. the territory from Altai to the Silk Road in all its diversity. During 3 months a team of professionals will visit the most interesting points of our country in order to show and tell about them to Kazakhstan and foreign tourists about the amazing nature of Kazakhstan, where there are mountains, steppes, lakes and rivers. The purpose of the expedition to identify the necessary infrastructure solutions for the further development of tourism.

About 140 people will take part in it, which include professional guides and experienced travelers, journalists, travel bloggers, as well as deputies and media personalities. The team of National Geographic Russia will take part along the route “New Silk Road”.

“We are very pleased to be part of such a large and important project for the study of Kazakhstan. I am sure that everyone anticipates the beginning of this path. Our task is to tell about 6 regions in a new format. We want to show that in order to experience new sensations and discoveries, it is not necessary to go somewhere abroad, because all the most interesting and involved in the history of our country is here, ”said Sandugash Rakhimzhanova, Director of the Kazakh TV channel.

In the footsteps of the expedition, new tourist routes will be formed, a high-quality photo and video bank about the country's natural sites will be created, information on their condition will be updated. Illustrated guides on natural sites covered by the expedition will also be created.

The course of the expedition will be widely covered in the media and social networks. The expedition included a film crew of the Kazakh TV channel, which plans to launch a special television program based on visits to tourist sites. On some routes, the expedition will be accompanied by a film crew from the “Big Country” program on Khabar 24.
