“So far we have not watched a lot of films and it is still difficult to judge which genres are better and more represented. But according to the catalog that we see, a lot of work remains to be done. The beginning portends some interesting films. But I want to say that the organization of such festivals helps young people to connect with other film schools, even through the screen, with all the possibilities and understanding of cinema. This gives development to all film schools. This is true in all industries: you can’t close yourself in one particular circle, you must always be interested in what is happening in the world. From this comes the progress and development of cinema. I think that the younger generation of film schools in Kazakhstan, talented students, will discover something new for themselves. I think it will be useful for them and for any cinema in general,” the speaker noted.
