According to the Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, several systemic measures are envisaged in this regard.

“For example, when students of colleges and universities undergo an internship, it is not counted as work experience. The main limiting factor is that a young graduate goes to work, but he has no experience. Therefore, we propose to consider the period of internship as experience, so that when finding employment, young people have at least six months, or 1 year of experience,” the MP said.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov, 18 billion tenge is provided for the First Job and Youth Practice projects.

“Previously, the funds were directed to the training of citizens who came to work, and now they are transferred to the employers themselves. Thus, at the end of the internship, they undertake to hire the graduate without fail. This will be both a help to employers and an opportunity for a novice employee,” Tugzhanov said.
